In honor of National Veggie Hot Dog Month, COK has teamed up with Sticky Fingers Bakery to host D.C.'s first ever Veggie Hot Dog Eating Contest. Enjoy all the Tofurky Franks you can eat and win fabulous prizes or watch others stuff their faces. Help us show others how easy, delicious and fun it is to choose vegetarian foods! Everyone is welcome and there is no entry fee.
Don't delay--contestant registration ends July 24th!

What better way to encourage people to explore vegetarian eating than offering free samples of delicious animal-friendly fare? That's why COK hosts a vegan feed-in each month, in various locations around the D.C.-area (time & day also varies each month). In addition to serving free vegan food, we'll also be distributing literature, including our new Eating Sustainably brochure.
In honor of National Veggie Hot Dog Month, we will be serving veggie hot dogs before one of Washington, D.C.'s favorite summer outdoor activities: watching classic movies on a giant screen on the National Mall! Join us in offering movie-goers free samples of veggie hot dogs and encouraging them to transition to a more compassionate diet.
WHERE: The National Mall at 4th St., in N.W., D.C.

You're invited! Support COK while enjoying delicious cruelty-free fare and socializing with other activists! Please join us at the monthly Vegetable Garden funding day, the first Thursday of every month, when D.C.'s vegan favorite donates 10 percent of your bill to COK.
