Anti-Fur Vigil at Neiman Marcus
January 5, 2002

On January 5, 2002, nearly 40 COK activists held COK's first anti-fur vigil of the new year. The activists used the vigil to encourage Neiman Marcus to make a new year's resolution that would save countless lives: going fur-free! In addition to helping Neimans along the way to a fur-free policy, the vigil publicized the plight of fur-bearing animals to the general public, hopefully changing minds and buying habits.

After watching footage of fur farms and trapping on COK's TV/VCR, these two teenagers joined the last ten minutes of the vigil.
